I'm having transmission replaced on my CPO 08 TL. Dealership just called and said they are ordering a "Frame Mount" that the tech noticed was ripped.

Are there a dozen parts that could fall under this name or one in particular someone could elaborate on?

FYI, I found nothing by searching.

this 08 model has a mount on the subframe for the transmission. Is it under warranty?

 

That must be the one is was referring to.

Yes it has full warranty til 7/2015 or 100K.

Is it odd for an 08 to lose a trans at 53K; I thought they ironed out those TL trans issues.
