Hi Guys,

Went to replace the fog light bulbs in my TLS. Everything on line Piaa, Sylvania, etc says they are 9006 bulbs. Owners manual says they are H4 which I understand is the same. When I took the old bulb out, no go, not even close. The old bulb say H8. WTF? Did they change this after manufacture?

Not to be an ass, but did you take out the bulbs in the head-light cluster or the bottom grille?

I'd be interested in finding out what bulb fits in there aswell.

 

The guides are incorrect and the manual is as well due to the way it was printed, and a search resulted in a member with the same dilemma a while back. On the online guide, it may be incorrect as they might reference the DRL light with the fog and not mention the fog at all. As for acura, a printing mistake on their behalf.

 

The driving/fog lights on the 07/08 TL is a H8 type. The best match to the HIDs I have found are the Nokya Artic White bulbs. Very reasonable cost and work great.

It is hard to tell from these daylight shots, but the stock bulbs are clearly yellowish in person and the Nokya are a nice white with a hint of purple/blue in them.
