Did you replace the flywheel too? What I've learned is when you replace the clutch, REPLACE THE FLYWHEEL! I replaced my original clutch at 180K miles, the new clutch went at after another 40K. Makers of our clutch, LUK say to replace the flywheel at the same time since a worn flywheel has the propensity to take the clutch with it due to the characteristics of that dual mass flywheels represent. Any wear in the flywheel is guaranteed to damage the clutch.

Clutch problems not engaging is usually a leaking clutch master or slave cylinder or worn clutch master cylinder. However, it could all so be a defective pressure plate problem, unable to disengage.

If the clutch is not slipping then it's probably not a clutch problem. It's more of a release problem.

Check the clutch fluid level to see if it's low or leaking. You may even try bleeding it first to see if it makes a difference. If it does then it's definitely a hydraulic problem.

If the clutch pedal is low then it could simply be out of adjustment or a sign that it's a hydraulic problem.
