Hi:

I owned a '07 TL, and I noticed that when I slow down from 40 mph - 20 mph, the transmission is 'dragging' the engine/car while it is down shifting.

I brought it to Acura dealership and they re-flash the transmission firmware already. The 'pronounce feel' has been reduce, but it is still 'visible'.

Any has the same experience ?

it's polly the change from 4th to 3rd and since it is a rather large "gap" between those gears you notice it....the 08TL I had as a loaner did the same thing

 

mine does this also,but I think it's normal. J-series tranny's scare me.........
