'07 TL gauge cluster failure?

Hey guys, my boss has an 07 TL (3.2). She noticed as she was driving that all her gauge needles were not working. The instrument lights were working but all needles were at zero. She can't tell engine temp , fuel , speed etc... I did a search and coudn't find anyone with the same or similar problem. I could replace the cluster for her but obviously I would rather try to fix it first. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The gauge system has a self diagnosic function, but first check the No.7 (7.5A) fuse and the no.21 (7.5A) fuse in the under dash fuse/relay box. The self-diagnostic function is quite elaborate.

Check the following, last reply:

Ideas?

m_wrx, we're you able to resolve your issues? I'm having the same exact issues: all of the dash gauges completely stop working, along with the windows, turn signals, A/C, seatbelt reminder, and more...I replace the #21 fuse (which is a 7.5a fuse) and everything works again. Just curious if you were able to isolate the issue?
