07 TL Base - Strange sound like space ship/Jetson's car.

I am hearing an intermittent sound on acceleration. Best way to explain it is a "wa" sound over and over again that is consistent with acceleration (like the Jetson's car). Would like some input. Thought maybe a 3x3 trans fluid change may clear it up. It does have 230k afterall.

Check power steering fluid.
If power steering fluid is at full line/mark...the pump might be going out

Another loose heat shield maybe? Should b a sticky about it. Both my cars have/had that problem. The one underneath the car around the catalytic converter

Is the noise in first gear only? My car has made a Jetson spaceship like whine in first gear since i bought it and after a 3x3 fluid & filter change it still sounds exactly the same. Right as the transmission shifts into second it goes away.
