'07-'08 side mirrors on my 06 help!!

So I purchased the entire side mirror for the passengers side but for the driver side I only purchased the 07-08 shell , my question is will that shell fit the 04-06 side mirror base?

i know the mirror is different between the 06 and 07/08, plus if you only got the housing, then you are missing the wiring for the blinker in the mirror to work.
