Has anyone replaced the lower transmission mount on the 07-08 5AT TL? Just wondering how much work it was since I read the transmission must be lifted pretty high to clear the mount for removal.

the mout is cheap compared to the other ones and it is relatively simple to replace. jack up trans slightly and remove and install. I Would take the air box out to maike it easier to get to stuff though

thats the upper transmission mount, I've replaced it before its easy. the lower one however, is not easy. I remember seeing the service manual on the replacement somewhere on this forum awhile back but cannot find it. and also, its actually the most expensive of all the motor and transmission mounts

 

oops sorry about that i meant to say those are the trans mounts #14 is the lower one I believe as 15 is the upper one
