I've got two issues with my 2006 Auto TL w/Navi. Picked up the car used from my next door neighbor, always garaged, highway miles, good guy, etc. It's coming up on the end of warranty period (50K) and have two issues (I think)...

1. On the door windows, it looks like they are 'sand-blasted'. For example, while driving and the sun hits them at the right angle, it's not quite clear but has many very small spots. Nothing you can clean off and not the tint either. You can rub your hand along the window on the OUTSIDE and feel the roughness. Is this normal in some way? Also, there is a line where the roughness disappears about 1" above the door frame (the line is not straight though, it shifts). Any ideas?

2. When cold starting (even in FL, 84 or something today), it seems to have a 'hitch' when it starts and runs rough for a couple seconds. Always use premium fuel, oil at 60%. So basically, I turn the key and right when it should turn over is when the hitch, or slight delay happens. I've also had it not start once or twice on me (held the key long enough). Any ideas?

Thanks for the time, my dealer isn't all that close and with work even farther away, I want to make sure I have some information before taking the car in. Also want to make sure I'm not being overly picky about stuff.....

The windows could be possible overspray, try clay bar...

It's not overspray...the 'texture' is too fine all over the window, and the line I mentioned where it goes from rough to smooth is precise, almost like a manufacturing issue. The line is exactly straight, makes a 90 deg cut to a slightly higher position, then exactly straight across the window.

Yep, getting the battery checked this week most likely.
