06 TL Reverse Grinding

Hello,
Looking for some advice for my Acura TL 06. I was on my way to work when my 5th gear just went out and my rpm just kept going up. I luckly made it into the garage at work. When I got to work, I tried to reverse into my parking spot and notice my reverse was no longer working. It still drives fine in I think. I'm afraid to leave the garage.Every day I just start my car before work trying to see if my reverse works. All of a sudden I hear a really loud grinding sound trying to get into reverse. In about 3 seconds it just makes a loud clunk sound and my reverse starts to work again. I keep testing it every day and it seems fine. I just tried it the 5th day and now it constantly makes that loud grind for 3 seconds then reverse kicks into gear. I just changed the transsmission fluid(badly needed it) and it didn't seem that was the problem. Still makes the grind sound in reverse gear. Sorry for the rant, but I was wondering if my trans is done for? My brother says I need to sell it asap. Thanks guys!

New tranny time; the prevailing wisdom here says you should opt for the BAYA transmission from a 2006-2007 Honda Accord V6.

I just checked my car again and it seems the grinding sound went away when I kept going to park to reverse/drive to reverse. Is the fluid actually working?

Tick-Tock-Tick-Tock; that is the sound of the bomb between your engine and your wheels. :p
