hi I have an 06 Acura tl 6mt and tried to program the seat by pressing the memo button seeing the flashing seat numbers and pressing 1 in this case that all works fine but as soon as I move the seat and press 1 to go back to the saved position it doesn't do anything can someone help me?

 

Is the car on and in Park when you try to do this?

yes its on with the parking brake up in neutral

 

The e-brake must be up when programming. and the car can't be moving while selecting a setting. Does the memory system work when you first enter the vehicle? ie: does it recognize you as Driver 1 or Driver 2 and adjust accordingly?

 

No it does recognize me when I enter the vehicle

 

No it does NOT recognize me when I enter the vehicle

 

ended up being a faulty passenger mirror actuator I read about it on another thread installed it and works like a charm
