'06 TL Deceleration - E-Brake sticking?
Anyone have this issue?
Had my back rotors and brake pads replaced (50k mi on my car) in Feb '10. Mechanic said that the e-brake was stuck on and fixed it. Prior to that I had noticed there was a weird smell, like two pieces of metal rubbing on each other, creating heat and a unique smell.
Since then, I have noticed every other time, my back left tire still creates the smell and heat and my car decelerates more then normal on top of the gravit logic. Any ideas?
Thanks,

I would use an infrared thermometer on the rotors to check, but if not available, jack it up and spin the rear wheels to see if one is harder than the other to turn. You can always open the caliper to take the brake pad drag off the rotors then spin again to see if the brake shoes are causing any resistance.
