first check that your fork actually receives the pedal movement by looking at the slave cylinder, it should move about 1-2 inches smoothly (helps if you look at a normal functioning one). That'll rule out everything in the hydraulics.
Then of that checks out, i would look at the shift linkages.

Burning Brakes
late to this discussion, but after bleeding has there been any attempt to adjust the pushrod on the master? i initially could not get in gear after clutch change with car running. but off it could shift into all gears. adjustment all the way out fixed it for me.
the issue with stuck in first could be as simple as one cable end popped off from the lever on top of the trans, or it broke internally. prob worth looking at when you get a chance.
