Hey folks, I’ve searched on here for previous discussed solutions but can’t seem to find what I think I need to learn. 05 TL and was giving catalyst issue p0420 and p0430( I think that’s the codes), pulled cats and j-pipe and found the rear cat on head was coming apart and found all the parts in 3rd cat. Replaced all 3 cats with free flow cats and aftermarket j-pipe. I still have the original issue of stalling when coming to a stop and a low idle and still showing codes but no cel. It runs excellent when driving just intermittently dies when coming to a stop. Replaced spark plugs and idle seems better but still have intermittent stalling at stops. Any advice? Again if this has been covered could you direct the right worded search? Thanks much.

 

check power steering pump, a/c compressor and all accessory drive items to see if they are hard to turn. How old is the battery in the car?

 

perhaps the EGR valve is clogged?

 

Battery is just a couple months old. Thanks I’ll check those items to see if their locking up.
