05 TL Mirror discoloration
Hi, I have owned my TL since and just over the last couple of months the mirrors seem to be getting rust spots on them. They started off small and now have becaome a large swirl of rust color throughout the bottoms of both mirrors.
Has anybody heard of this problem..
I don't think I have any warranty left for that type of thing.
Any help or fix would be much appreciated.

It's apparently resolved by replacement of the affected mirror.

I think u will find these spots are burn marks from the heated mirrors. only fix I know is replace. good luck
