Hey everyone,

Have had the car for almost three years now and is at 74,000+ miles. My reverse gear used to be a pain and would have to shift from either second or fifth to engage reverse. A little while ago it slipped out of reverse while backing up and no longer will engage. Changed fluid and reverse lockout solenoid and still have the same issue.

Any tips or references would be nice. I'm assuming at this point it is an internal issue. Just need some insight from the community.

Have you figured out the issue? & Have you also checked fuse number 18 under the dash?

 

Yeah that fuse is fine.

 

What fluid did you use? Hopefully, you used the AC Delco stuff.

I used Honda M/T fluid. Almost certain it is a internal issue. Can't even get it to budge near reverse at all. Like a solid wall in the way.
