My 05 TL has ~ 21k miles. The rear break roto corrosion and grooving was so bad the outside 1/2 of the disk was not even making contact with the pads. The dealer replaced the parts free but insisted on charging for labor. After what I learned here and from some mechanics this sounds like a quality problem, not "normal wear".

The dealer won't budge. I've submitted a complaint to Acura. I've also submitted a complaint to the DOT. A few of you mentioned you had this problem as well. If you have, please submit a complaint to the DOT. The more of us that complain the more likely they will take action and get a potentially dangerous situation corrected.
