looks like you gotta disassemble the cluster to get to it. I think the seat warmers buttons are easier. hope youre still under warranty that way you can avoid the hassle.

my left led on the steering that make the volume up and down , burnt, it was not on warranty because for this led the warranty is very short. the cost was 100 dollars canadian to change them. I Think they overheat because you tend to leave your hand on it.

My ex from a few years back had a '00 Jetta. Every so often, the stereo and HVAC lights would go out. We would have to hit the dash for them to come back on. Bad ground, I guess, but the dealership never was able to fix it.

On the other hand, my 4 Honda cars have NEVER had an issue with this.

Weird stuff.

It will be covered under warranty because I brought my car in to replace the burned out bulbs on the radio remote switch on the steering wheel.

BTW, do you know if the MAX button to change the brightness of the instrument guages & nav screen lights up at night???

I can't remember if its supposed to.

yes hitting the "max" button lights up all the lights on the navi and sterring wheel also. i wish i could turn down the instrument cluster and leave the navi lights brighter, ie if i turn down the instrument cluster to a comfortable level, the navi lights and stee ring wheel lights are barely lit. is there an adjustment for this?

You can set the NAVI to DAY even when it's night but the buttons are tied to the rest of the illumination package.
