04 TL unable to open rear doors from inside even though unlocked

I cannot open either rear doors OR roll them down from inside the vehicle. From the front seat I can roll them down.

I received it as a gift so I can't speak on whether it has always done it. Is it a child lock issue?

There are child locks on the rear doors. Open the rear doors from the outside and move the child lock switches - they are on the door facing the rear of the car. I'm assuming you are meaning you can't roll down the rear "windows." I've honestly never tried the rear widow switches while the child locks are on but that could be it.

That worked! I can open the door from inside now!! Thank you!

But I'm still not able to roll the windows down from the back. I can roll rear windows down from the front but not from the rear 🤷♂️

There is a master control switch for the windows on the driver's door. It is a rectangle shape near in front of the window switches and toggles the power off and on to the other windows. Push the switch - down is off for the other windows, up is on. Give that a try.

I take it the car didn't come with an owner's manual gift?

Here's my gift to you: Owner's Manuals | 2004 Acura TL | Acura Owners Site

No it did not. So I'm getting information on all the complicated things from Acurazine and YouTube
