'04 (Base) AT - No Crank, No Start - only one click

I have a 2004 Acura TL (Base) AT - I am unable to start the car. when attempting to start it I hear 1 loud click coming from the starter solenoid, while doing this the electronics in the car do NOT dim (Headlights, dash, interior all good and never dim or go out - Battery tested OK). All fuses under hood and under dash seem good. Pulled and tested Starter at AdvaceAuto and tested good. Immobilizer key icon on dash is green and acts normal, appearing when key turned to on and goes away after a second or two. I have also tried started in Neutral, moving gear selector from park down to bottom and back up again. Never anything more the one solenoid click. I have even bypassed all the switches leading to the starter by running power manually to the ACC positive on the starter to initiate the starter but result was the same, one click.

Any thoughts, advice?!?!? My car has been stuck at work for a few days now and I really need to get this thing at least running once so i can take it home or the dealer.. any help at all will be appreciated.

How is that possible? If you've bypassed the ignition switch, then I'd say it's a bad starter, regardless of what AA says. It's not uncommon for 04-05 starters to die.

: If I went to the trouble of pulling an '04 starter, I would have rebuilt it while it was off or just replaced it.

I'm thinking the same. Sounds like a dead starter. Rebuild or replace.

It's the starter, just dealt with it. You can bang on the starter with a hammer or large screwdriver to get it started in a pinch.

Thanks for the input guys. I did replace the Starter while i had it out, but it didnt resolve the issue. Starter has lifetime warrenty so figured it wouldnt hurt to replace anyway since its free.

I was working off of info telling me to manually run power to the smaller ACC power connection on the solenoid - so my previous statment was wrong - ACC power to solenoid seems just fine. I needed to manually run it to the larger 12vdc power on the solenoid and it starts fine when the key is turned.

Sorry for the bunk info from the first post - I am definatly a noob - only had the TL for 1.5 months.

Wait, so how are you running the power wire? From where to the solenoid?
