04-05 TL recall on windshield wiper & power steering fluid leak
I recently got a letter in the mail for a recall on the 04-05 TL windshield wipers may stop working & power steering fluid leak. Did anyone else get this letter? If you took it to the dealership to fix it, how long did it took? please and thank you

this is not a tsb- which a merely Service Bulletins for acura techs on certain problems.
RECALL means call the dealer and give them the vin of your car- they look it up, tell you if affected, tell you when the parts will be available, and make an appointment.
You can register on acura- need your vin- and make a free account- store the radio and nav security codes, and check the Recall section- anything on your specific car will show up

the power steering hose may leak and spray fluid on the exhaust
Potential for FIRE under the hood
CALL And RE- CALL the dealer service dept
they give you a free loaner car for the day when possible. Must be over 25 in most states- some 21, insurance rules. Ask in advance
It takes about 3 hours for the engine to cool off enough to even work on the power steering, so if you can- drop it off the night before, at the end of their day. It gets pullen into the techs workspace and readt to work on first
More loaners may be available then as well,
I think it takes an 1-4 hours to do both jobs
