Zaino'd the whip today

First time I've ever used zaino and i honestly have to say i'm very impressed witth the outcome....

first: washed the car with dawn dish soap
second: i clayed the car
third: washed the car with dawn again
forth: i used zaino all in one polish
fifth: i used 2 coats of Z-5
and finally i finished it off with Z-8 spray for that deep shine

Now on to the pics......

I know i suck at taking pics so if anyone wants to get together and do a shoot hit me up

clean, alot of ppl doing crazy detailing jobs nowa days. btw IIRC, using dish washing soap is kinda bad for the paint. I could be extreamly wrong.

looks clean!

Dont use dish soap..its going to eat away your clear coat then paint...

dish soap is meant to be rinsed with warm/hot hotter, otherwise u wont get everything off by rinsing. Real car wash soap comes off easily and is meant to take grime off your car.

They use the dish soap to take the previous wax etc off. Thats what they recommend on Zaino's siteas I recall. Thats what I did for my car but I need to go more in depth to get some more swirls out with the buffer. AFter that its back to the Zaino treatment. What I love about Zaino is just how the rain beads off the car compared to other cars its pretty cool when you stop and it shakes the water off like a wet dog lol.

Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Clear at 2 ounce/gallon will be a much better alternative to Dawn. Dawn is cheap and convenient but it is also harsh on plastic and rubber trim.

lol beginner washer

What dish wash soap does is strip the wax. Than you clay the car, polish the car, than put on NEW wax (get where I'm going here?), viola beauty of a car.

x2. You only go through the process once...then you just keep on applying Zaino after that and it just keeps on building Zaino. You dont just use dish washing soap all the time I am pretty sure most people know that.

Yeah I think you guys misunderstodd him. Like the OP, I myself will use dish soap before I plan on doing a full claybar and detail job. Its the best way to fully clean the surface and remove any previously applied wax.
Its obvious you dont wanna use dish soap for every normal car wash.

This. There shouldn't ever be an instance where you let Dawn touch your car.
