Who has these headlights?

I am trying to figure out if this version of JNC's headlights has anything blacked out behind the amber diffuser? The amber looks much darker but I cant tell if the chrome behind it was blacked out to achieve this. Anyone have this version? Any pics at night with the lights on?

FWIW, this is the version I'd go with if I chose to blackout the headlights on my car. For some reason I think the stock headlights on SSM look decent.

I believe they are blacked out behind it. That is the same I did with my headlights. It gives it the stock look, but darkens the amber. And i think all switchback bulbs that are exposed so hidious, so i jsut kept my stock bulb behind it and it looks good.

Do you have any pictures of what they look like at dusk/night with the corners on? Is the light output diminished because you blacked out the chrome?

Nope, light output is the same, or atleast you can't tell much of a difference. Sorry, this pic was just taken with my cell phone, but you get the idea. I have 6000k bulbs in.

JNC thanks for the pics these look great! it looks like I can see the chrome reflector behind the amber still is anything behind the amber lens blacked out? Or maybe its just lightly tinted?

The turn signal reflector behind the diffusers are painted partially black as they usually are in case of Blacked out V2.
