Talking Wheel modding?

So some of you might remember me postin somethin before about my wheels gettin messed up from the winter/salt....so yesterday i removed the clear coat off the lip of the wheel with airplane stripper.....then went and bought the mothers powerball and polished these bad boys up they look like chrome compared to what they looked like with the clear coat on them....but i still have one problem the divets in the wheels....idk how to get them out but if anyone knows any tips feel free to leave the info....But i figured id give yall some teasers of what these wheels are gettin done to them!

as you can see what i was saying about the divets

Then the teeaser.....

Use WD-40 to remove the divets. Let the WD-40 sit there for a minute or two, then wipe and re-spray. I had the same problems on my wheels and had it cleaned like this.

If your reffering to the rivvets or bolts then....

dont wanna nock ur rims, but MOST generic rims arnt TRUE 3pc or 2pc. means they dont come apart. dont feel bad tho, AME is the same way. maybe 2pc welded rims with "fake" rivvets.

400-600 will def dull the shine. if you are going to do that, work your way up from 400/600 to 2k then hit it with polish and it will be like new. The white face will look nice..GL

before you start sanding, try brake cleaner to clean the divots.
let it soak, then wipe and re-do it.

I had some amazing results with brake cleaner cleaning rims in the past.

Good luck !

Looks nice.... but that's a LOT of white! Go with Black lug nuts and paint the faux screws around the circumference black to give some contrast.
