This is what I did with my day
So this is what I did today...
Coilovers were already in my garage, the speedshop I ordered my rims from finally got my TSW's in. So I went on in to have everything installed.
Im not crazy about this rim I actually love the design but the fact that it was advertised as a 1.5 inch lip and my wheels have very little lip is bothering the fuck outta me. The tech that installed everything test drove my car after everything was installed and I must say the car looked damn good while it was moving. After he test drove it he told me that the car has a vibration upon acceleration, he also mentioned that the coilovers are going to settle everything is brand new so bushings and such need to settle and decompress(Expected this). Next thing: He said that the car needs a wheel alignment (expected this as well) but then he told me that it looks like I need upper control arms for the rear but when I bring it back for the alignment they are going to see if I can get away with not doing the upper control arms right away. Does this make sense to u guys? So when I drove the car and I do feel that vibration, I also feel every bump on the road now lol (VERY EXPECTED), But the car handles like a damn dream my goodness.
Question for yall is :do you think the speedshop will maybe exchange the back set of rims for something with a lip the front I love but the rear looks like it should have a lip give me your opinions on the rims and how they look on my car all are welcomed. And I know Spacers are needed and Aspec kit, but i think my next mod is gonna be me taking a drive down to Bridgewater to visit bruce for cleared/painted headlights.
Here are the specs
18x8 TSW valencia
235 40R 18 Falken tires
HT Spec V2 coilovers

Unless they really pride themselves on customer service, I'd be surprised if they take them back honestly. TSW won't take the wheels back once they've had tires mounted on them. Did you see the wheels before the tires were mounted on them? I think they look nice BTW.

Yes those Pillars are coming off!!! Ive had the car for alil under a year now they came with it. Im thinking with the black and silver rims the pillars need to go along with the weathertech door visors that the previous owner F'ed by trying to put crazy glue in the seams to make it stick.
The tint I had done its 20%

Yea I know I know the pillars werent my idea they were the previous owners, I just never removed them because I was completely stock and I felt like it made my car different than other SSMs I saw on the road not even that I liked them. The wheels have grown on me but by summers beginning I will have a new set of rear rims 18x9.5 in the same design.
I knoooooooooooooooowwww dude... Aspec will have to wait my next large purchase will be getting these rims right and then Aspec. Your SSM looks good
Thanks boi!!
Wanna black my Grille too

The drop looks good, I wish I had waited another month to get the V2s. I highly suggest you to replace those weathertech visors and get oem visors. They flow a lot better, but are pricey ($145 shipped)

Shark no i didn't... At first I was upstairs n the waiting area and then I got called into work so I left the car there and go picked up. By the time I got back the wheels were already mounted. Stupid me shoulda said something when I saw them but I have to go back mon so they can raise the front some and align everything so I'm gonna talk to them about a different rear rim.

Going back tomorrow morning so they can raise the car and align everything as best as possible without using camber kits for the moment.
