Did you clear them out by putting them in the oven and taking them apart?

I am afraid of messing up the seals doing it this way. Is there any other way?

Looks really good by the way

Cleared headlights alone are not illegal in any state. Provided you still have an amber reflector somewhere on the front corner of the vehicle, per DOT (federal) regulations, then it is legal. *However*, with the TL headlights, if you clear them out and remove the amber reflector piece and don't put an equivalent amber reflector somewhere else in the vicinity (like on the bumper), then this would be illegal in *every* state, as it violates DOT regulations by which every state must adhere.

Hey Lee
Was it possible to do what you did with the headlights WITHOUT removing the chrome strip from the headlights? I think that might look pretty good with the cleared/blacked out lights.

No tint yet I gotta limit my treats per month otherwise I'd kill my budget. Priority mods first!

NEXT ON MY LIST:
RSB
dvd2nav + reverse camera and all that goodness
CAI
grounding kit

Near future:
Tint
Suspension

Far future:
Rims & Wheels

Maybe:
Clearbra

If you look carefully malu, you might be able to see that strip there. It was painted black not removed (as far as I know, I'm the first). It kinda blocks my LED though so removing it might not be such a bad idea...wonder if its needed...

So basically what you are saying is that right now your LED turn signals are just a blink blinkin away? Maybe you ought to go ahead and get that tint so noone can see you!!
