I figure why not start one. Before we get to anything, I just want to say I do all the work on my car. Install, paint, body work, welding etc...I know many of you will probably say its bad work, but I try my best and did all my learning on this car, and getting better.

At the dealership in 2008



1st set of rims SSR Professor SP1, and Koni yellow with H&R race springs.






2nd set if rims, Volk TE37 IN WDP






3rd set of rims, Work Meister S1





4th set of rims, Locksmice Mesh. Finally got A-spec kit. Painted my grill. Blacked/Cleared headlights. 07-08 Base Tails.






5th set of rims, HRE 540R. Then I decided to be a little different and mold my front lip to make it clean and look like one solid lip. Also, painted my roof black with gold pearl (JAVA BLACK PEARL) And did some fender work.











6th set of rims, Enkei RP03. I liked the java black pearl so much I ended up doing the whole car this color, only, I ended up adding A LOT more gold pearl then the paint code called for, I also added a tinge of red pearl. Also added OEM window visors.






7th set of rims, AME FS-01. Although you can't tell, I ended up getting H&R full coilovers and going lower. CHECK OUT THAT GOLD PEARL!






8th set of rims AME Circlar Spec-R. Also added Accord fogs.






All of this in the course of 2 years (early 2008-early 2010). Dealing with being layed off, I kinda fell out if love with the car and I started focusing more on my New family, college, and finances. I got rid of my rims and was riding close to stock height (Still on my H&Rs). Fast forward to Sept 2011, I added the first mod in over a year, Quad Ti tip exhaust system






That's it for now. I'm dealing with the biggest move thus far, From Hawaii to Vegas. I anticipate it'll be a while before I move forward with my car considering ill have to put my focus into buying a house and all new tools and stuff for the house. But since I made this thread. I'll do all my updates in here from now on....

nope, mods were generous enough to give me one last chance! Super greatful. I know that was one of my fav wheels. If I had a choice to.get back any of them, it would be the AME FS01. Thanks man!

Thank you, the crazy thing about those rims is, they came in polished finish. I didn't like it so I turned them into brushed aluminum finish myself

a little update. My car finally made it across the pacific ocean. Drove it from Long beach CA to las vegas.

once in las vegas I lowered it.





unfortunatly, i rear ended someone and smashed my front end a little bit. i was coming out of a drive way so it wasnt that hard of a hit. the other car had a small indentation on their bumper, but my TL wasnt so lucky.



So i started to rebuild my front end. in the course of 3 weeks, I spent near $1000 on fixing/upgrading my front end. that was my saved money for rims FML. So i started to piece everything together.

Since I still dont have a job yet, I have a lot of time on my hands and thought id try something different. I started playing with my front emblem.

At first, I tore apart a kids toy for this mesh type piece. lol



Trimmed it



painted it



installed it










here you can see that I already started with my front end. Its 07-08 front end with aspec lip. unfortunatly I couldnt afford the complete swap (mirrors, headlights) but I like how its coming together. Yes, yes, I know I gotta paint the front bumper. I blacked out my NEW to me headlights, added type s diffusers, sanded and buffed the outer lens. I also got an injen CAI with a massive K&N filter. As you can see, I dont have fog lights. I dont plan on getting them for 3 reasons, MAIN reason, they cost too much and I spent a lot of money already (wifes bitchen like crazy lol), I want to be different, and to feed my CAI fresh COLD air.

Future plans are to obviously paint. get wide rims and body work my car to fit those rims.

Hell ya! Yes its kinda javablack. When I went to get the paint I asked if they could add more gold pearl and a splash of red pearl so its a "modded javablack" lol
