I see a lot of peple like the car better with the SEVAS. I liked the SEVAS too but they are not the best choice for a 6spd. I'm happy the way it came out and apreciate everybody's coments.

Now this is why I'm fucking pissed now. Took the car to the Acura dealer for an oil change the day after installing the wheels. They asked me if I wanted the car washed and I said SURE!!! Picked it up, got home and noticed the wheels were stained and thought they were water stains. paid no attention. Washed the car a few days later and it didn't come off. Talked to the dealer and they said that they only used soap and water. They told me to take the car back that they would clean it. Got it back today, same shit. I didn't have time to wait for the service manager so I left. When I got home I called the place I bought the wheels from, and they told me there is no way to fix it because they are ionized and clear coated. Now I ask you guys. Is that true? Is there any way of fixing the wheels? Do you think the dealer will take responsibility on the matter? Or am I fucked?

That is true...i'd make the dealer pay for the damage...I think in order to fix them you have to strip the lip completely and refinish/polish it. Try some Mothers Billet aluminum polish...if that doesnt work make the dealer fix them...

this is why you *NEVER* let the dealer wash your car...EVER.

I allready tried that and it didn't work and with my luck I'm sure the dealer is just going to blow me off.

that sucks man .. the mothers billet most likely wont work.. my friend had the same problem with his wheels at the BMW stealer and we tried mothers like 5 times. he had to send them out and have them refinished..the dealer did end up paying but it took a couple of months and alot of phone calls

Where did he send them to? I read on another thread some one taking the wheels apart and doing this but these are welded together. Thanks for the info.

I noticed you went with a +40 all the way around. I've been trying to decide on an offset. Does the lower number give you more lip? For example, +38 versus +40.

i finally got in touch with my friend..he brought them to a place here on the long island called s-n-l metal restorations..the guy stripped the wheel down polished it and then clear coated them. this guy is very good he fixed four sets of wheels for me personally. he just moved to a new shop so i'm trying to get his new contact info for you. i will try to get back to you asap.

Did you have to use a spacer with these? Also I don't know if you seen pictures of my car but should I go with the silver ones like yours or with the ones that are gun metal almost.. thanks.

BTW not sure

235/35/19 clear those rims?

Your new wheels are hot but the Sevas has a more aggressive stance (Fat lips=meaner TL).

But nice choice as you can't go wrong with Varianza wheels.

No spacers for the Works. I think the black chrome varianza would look sick on your car.

I think the lower the offset the more lip you'll get. But it has to do with the disk of the wheels too.
