LEDs dont take that much of load resistance as the halogen bulbs do, so less resistance on the circuit and the relay flashes faster, leaving you with hyperflashing for turn signals.
get 50watt 6ohm load resistors for each side and your golden

Its time to purchase my 105k replacement parts...
Should I go with OEM and pay around $360
or go with rockauto.com Gates brand kit for $174??
has anyone used Gates parts before?

I'm not totally familiar with the total parts list for the 105k service, but I wouldn't buy anything other than OEM for the actual timing belt...everything else I'd feel okay with a 3rd-party manufacturer.

Gates belts are actually really good...but im not so sure about the water pumps that they make though

I bought the v2 switchbacks and they are bright as hell! I can drive down the road with my parking lights and DRL with fogs and have no problem seeing. If you look at my Avatar, they match my chinese 8000k headlight bulbs perfect same with my 8000k fogs. With 5000k they would probably be more blue than the white so youre right there.

True, it might be easier and faster, i had load resistors forever now, and they dont get that hot, i also have load resistors for my drls that I wired up myself and those things are constantly on.. just a preference.. for front turn signals there are 2 perfect spots to bolt the load resistors to, and you cant even see them..

Dammit you posted that hyperflash thread before me. Yeah that helped me out with my v2 switchbacks also. Although now I want LED rears so need to resolder again.

Justin, on honda-tech when I was actually building motors and when the H2B was just starting I was the first one in my area that knew about it let alone try it. I used to provide alot of info and results from trial and error and stuff that I was doing. I had a 92 civic hatch for a little over 3 years and had around 6 motors in it. Never blew one up.

Tuned my own cars with ecTune.

Anyway as I got older and made more money at my job then I decided to buy the car I have wanted since fall of 07. And that was a Type S TL.
I did this to not have to work on a car or rebuild motors or do stupid things to cars. (Well I still add parts like a dumbass) but the reliable factor is there and all the panels are the same color. Not to mention a full interior. Things I have not been used to over the years.

While I still try to help where I can on this board I tend to stick around in here more-so than other places. I like this thread.

And in the future when others search the Type S then maybe they will find some cool stuff or maybe not but our footmark will always be here til the world ends. That we were the owners of these cars in the 11's and 12's

And about the rims hahahaha yesterday was 75 degress and I was sweating my ass off just swapping out 4 rims/tires lol.

Legend, I should say this in a pm but since I am rambling. If you find a set of springs that you so desire. I will tell you now that you should pick them up. I am not sure exactly when and if I will switch to coils at this point and I don't want you to wait on me and miss a good deal. So if you find that deal you should jump on it with full faith.

Now time to hack up a lung and go work on my car some.

you're limiting yourself to just UA7's when it applies to all 3rd gen TL's.

what you do to your type-s can be applied to my ua6.
and vice versa.

I like 3g TL's all of them. They are just dead fucking sexy. I "stare" at one every time I see one. Even mine.

I venture out few. But others here don't just limit their experience on this thread. They help out others tremendously in other sections.

This is more of a place to come back to like a home base and tell the other S owners whats been going on and pics of new stuff. And to meet and greet those that have the rarer TL.

Anyway its whatever. I think my hangover has weakened so I am gonna tear apart my driver door and start installing xmas parts.

And how much pain is the slave cylinder check valve delete gonna be because a stiff pedal after green lights is really annoying.

i did a search on an integra forum im a part of about gates water pumps...no one has complaints about them with the b series motors...so i dont see why they would be any worse for the j series...just thought id let you know

stiff clutch?
not good, I tried the slave cylinder mod. Didnt help my stiff clutch.
Only after I replaced the clutch did the problem go away

Yeah I read that justin. I think mine is still saveable. Its not so much the clutch as is the pedal shortly after running car hard. Which for me is everytime I drive it.

Gonna do this first cuz I really don't feel like pulling another tranny right now. Plus if I do that I wanna upgrade clutch and front sway bar and a few other things as well.

Just curious how hard it is gonna have to have wife help bleed clutch (biting nails)

yeah, it was my pedal too.

she can pump the clutch.

while you bleed and use a block to prevent the fork from moving.

I put some miles on mine last night and was impressed.

Did you just replace your 17's?

That slave cylinder is on the back of the tranny firewall side huh?? That blows. I miss have a B series tranny.

Just finished with kpt module gotta wrap it all back up and test. Bought a heat gun finally to seal the plastic door liner and will need it to roll fenders later anyway.

Also bought paint to do rear calipers. Gonna be a busy weekend.

For anyone wanting to go lamin-x route I suggest being more generous to the inside with the yellow.
Meaning the part of the lense that is on the inside closer to the grille as the outer part is more hidden by the black housing.

And thanks to the douchebag who installed HID fogs on my car (previous owner) and jacked up the connectors on the car side. Appreciate that.

Was going to add some 8k fogs with yellow overlays pictures but that will have to wait until tomorrow night. Going to tear apart grille in prep for plastidip tomorrow.

Next time for sure I will just go with material and cut my own out to cover the whole housing. And my driver fog housing has some chrome strips falling off? took pics will be uploading a bunch tonight to share info I found.

I hate to love modding. Gonna go get some beer maybe I will break something.

So your overlays were precut i am assuming?I had a little sheet off it and covered the entire fog with it.And damn that guy who half-assed the fog install!!

If I was to be motivated start to finish with the attention I took as far as heatingup the plastic to stick back to the door and everything.

I would say an OCD job in under 30 minutes. It took me over an hour with 2 20 minute breaks lol and a trip to O'reillys somewhere in the middle.

It is a really nice mod. 2 clicks and they roll up. Don't even have to hold the button down.

Will post up Honda part number monday when I get it for the clip puller. I figured at 2.00 or so for each clip I break 15 clips will pay for the tool. And never having to break another clip is priceless.
That tool came out fall of 2011 because it was right after I picked up my car and that was in June.
