OH I had a long weekend working on my TL-s and buddies TL-s

but here is a pic whoring thread

first off... installed remote start on my buddies 08 tl-s
everything went well, will be doing one more install of alarm/remote start on 05 tl 6sp this Wednesday, cant wait.



washed/cleaned my engine/engine bay with this amazing degreaser, brought up memories of clean engine when I just bought it. Installed new drive belt, flushed my tranny with the last 3x3 Redline atf oil, and battery clamps (4 & 8AWG slots will be used for future sub install )








Got some used 6" LCD monitors (free), was working on a custom frame and fitment for them, work still in progress.

Short shifter?...dang dude they already have a short throw. I couldn't imagine putting in a aftermarket. It would be like just a twitch of the wrist, and bam! second, bam third, bam forth. haha hellz yeah!

my buddy came up from cali today, so be installing PCDs, jpipe, remote start/alarm, springs/shocks, debatch, blackout grill, clearing out headlight all in one day... gonna be a long night!!!!

i've had the type s brand new since june 2008 (4 miles at the time) and have slowly been modding...on it's way to cali is the xlr8 j pipe and res. catback, and tomorrow i'm putting on 20 mm rear spacers (15f already complete), and painting rear calipers black

Dope cars fellas. . . always good to see TL-S. . . I dont have any unique mods but CT Shortshifter, Skunk2 shift knob, corsport bushings, GM synch, illuminated red door sills, all red LED interior, wing spoiler, and painted engine covers. I'm going for the blue/red theme on some megatron, superman, and NY Giants shit lol. Still havent decided what color to paint the actual engine cover.. possibly blue.. I also have a progress RSB on the way and possibly a RV6 V3 depending on how much i spend after tonight... Coilovers and wheels coming this spring...

Met up with CesarRod (UA7 #65) yesterday and just had a mini-meet and shoot of our own. We both have pretty much the same car. 2008 NBP Type-S with 20% tint all around. Only thing is that I have a 6MT and he has a 5AT. While we were there we went over future plans and ideas for the rides. This is what pix I have. Cesar has the yellow fog overlays on the left and I am on the right with open sunroof.












Also, I got my squad stickers in last week but didnt get a chance to put them on until today. They look sick. Will get better pix later.

I don't have my TLS yet, but it's on the way as of tomorrow. If it's possible I'd like number 144 . If that's not possible I can wait. I'll be on this forum long enough for the triple digits to come around
