TL Teardown for Ron Jon Kit
Well I started my labor day weekend wanting to install the AEM CAI, make my front sidemarkers blink and clear my headlights. This was all achieved, but i went further and tore down the rest of the body for the Ron Jon Kit. My kit is out getting prepped and primered right now and i will drop off the car when they are ready to paint. I am going to have the fenders blended in so that the kit and body color match. I have seen to many obvious color variations and decided to do it right the first time.
Here are some pics of the TL after bumper, sideskirt, headlight and breaklight removal. It was easier than i thought it would be. It does take care and can be done by the weekend warrior. So it is a doable weekend project if you get a pre-painted kit from Ron Jon.

Good idea on blending the first time because it eliminates headaches in the future. Hey just wondering are you clearing the headlights out yourself or are you getting someone to do them. I want to clear mine out but ill mess it up. Let me know thankz

Damn, your rear tires look liek they mean business from here. Just gave me an idea for my next kit, leave two openings to see the rear width of the tires. Sick!.
BTW, Test fit before prepping and priming, it helps alot to slightly sand the edges and make it look as perfect as possible.
