Tein S-Tech Before and After! 56k Warning

I still need to take the car up to LA to have my headlights smoked. My grille is getting custom painted jet black and WDP this weekend, as well as my bumper getting fixed... Let's start with the pictures...

Here are the shots of the prior to install of my comptech RSB and the tein s-tech springs..

STOCK Springs

Tein S-tech Springs Installed!!

The next step after the illuminated door sill installation and the smoked headlights is the OEM body kit, and black 19 inch wheels.

very nice! how is the ride quality compared to stock? How did you decide the s-tech over comptech? do you need camber adjustments?

Anybody have a good review/comparison of s-tech vs. Comptech?

Thanks!

Looking good!
I like the drop on the Tein's better than my comptechs. It seems that the drop is more even. Mine seems to sag a bit in the rear. As soon as my shocks go I am going with the Coilovers.

2nd pic after Tein installed, looks like it rubbed the fender? You can see the inside a little deformed?

I'm thinking either Ronjon Devotions in black with a polished lip or a set of volks in titanium gunmetal.. dunno yet got alot of time to decide

nice drop, did you install a camber kit?

Lazy me, I havent gotten the camber kit yet, if i have any issues I will pick it up, the drop is 1.5 inches I believe a camber kit would be a safe investment.

Hey Lokius,

Congrats! Can you give me a an exact measurement of the height of the bottom front bumper from the ground? I'm thinking to get A-spec body kit or ronjon body kit, but I'm a little worry about scratching my front kit. Have you thought about getting Basic Tein Coil Over or SS Tein coil Over? Thanks,

i did think about the tein coilovers, but they arent cost effective, i would have gotten tein flex if it was available, but i payed $110 for these springs, and $100 for install.. amazing deal

I finally get to see a picture of your TL!

So Fitz...What is your final answer on your decision for rim selection?

haha it's a never ending decision for me, right now im leaning towards the ronjon devotion in black, or a set of progressiv spokes if i can get them made in titanium gunmetal. if i cant get that colorway, its the devotions for me after i see some in black..

***UPDATE*****

Just ordered a full camber kit for the front and rear off ebay for $248 shipped, I will install it and let you know how it works. I am already noticing that a bit of alignment issues since the install, and I know that since this drop was over 1inch you need a camber kit...

Are these Tein S-Tech really good quality? And where can you get them for a cheap price? Also how much did you drop using those spring? Thanks.
