By the size of the box, and the shape of the box. I'd have to say its a hood. But I just saw that someone wrote its a carbon fiber hood. Post pics when you get a chance.

Sorry the delay guys... around the time i was finishing up, i got really really sick and needed to lay down for a while..

anyways, heres a quick shot i snapped before.... more will follow
It was actually a pain in the ass.. because there is a notch under the hood near the latch, that had to be dremmelled out, in order for the latch release to clear.... it took about an hour of dremmeling (fiberglass, so its NOT pleasanty) in order to make it fit... but it worked out... now i've just gotta get some hood dampers and maybe hood pins if i think i need them..
