it just came out of the shop on friday.

threw the wheels on and have been snapping pics saturday and sunday.
yup, i'm still running the koni yellow/aspec springs.

ALTHOUGH, i'm rubbing on one corner. my rear drivers side tire is being eaten by the fender.
my friend pointed out that that is a characteristic of not stiff enough suspension.

and he was right.
I remember when i installed the koni's, I had trouble adjusting the damping. it was stuck. I managed to adjust three corners to my liking butt, that corner is still on soft!!

at speed on the freeway, a transition piece from freeway to bridge to free way, i rub.

in the next few weeks, I'll purchase the items to resolve my rubbing issue

Are these te37's or varrstoens?

Also, your car is looking great.

How come your bumper middle tabs aren't clipped in? On the bottom. On one pic you can see them dangling down

the Duck Crossing sign was found at an office building.
it's an elaborate driveway with a massive water fountain in front.
to get to the building, you drive over the "little bridge" and I guess they put up the sign to watch for ducks!

The Varrstoen's spokes and lip look nothing like that.

Damn man I told you don't make me regret selling my car and you did. I had the same suspension set-up on my Type-S except for Aspec. Yea if you add a rear camber kit or even roll the rears you'll be set.

The car looks great the white flows so well. Are you planning on getting the SL TE37 decal or the Traditional ones?

the white is growing on me.

the only reason why I bought these...is because the specs are pretty spot on for the TL.
my friend was holding onto these and kept saying he was going to sell.
after a year of hearing him talking, I made the move to take them off his hands.

I have a little more work to do, to get them to fit perfectly.
a little camber, a little roll, and a little drop will make them PERFECT on my car.

they did come with blue stickers, blue lug nuts, blue valve stem.
took the blue stickers off and will probably buy black valve stems and lug nuts later on.

Great choice. Not the most original perhaps, but a good look none the less. I'd rock TE's.

Any reason why you don't want to sport the blue instead of the black? I feel like the blue accents would really pop well against your car's SSM finish.

Edit: Did 06's come in SSM or did they switch over to ASM at that point?

my 2006 is ASM. there is no blue flake in the paint

the lug nuts are cool! and gives a little color!
but I felt the stickers were a bit much. I might do a single SL sticker in the future in a diff. color. maybe black or ghost it and do a white sticker.

I really really wanted to do a deep purple brake caliper with white rims on silver body.

And I just bought BC coilovers this morning.

What's funny is my 19's made in 2006 have all the stamping like the wheel on the right in the diagram.

The Te37's previously came off EVO's. the original owner was pushin' 800hp.
the 2nd owner, I personally know. and even raced him back in 2010 with my dad's 2010 Chally SRT.

the third owner, also a friend, mistakenly bought them for his STi.
They dont fit. lol
Once I heard that they came off my friends Evo, I knew it would fit my car! lol

No doubt they were real. There are no replicas that look exactly like real deal TE37's. How much did you get them for if you don't mind me asking?
