Tail lights are finished
Braved the 32 degree weather and melting snow/ice and got the type s tails and the rear side lights installed. Was going to do the fronts at the same time but cut my hand twice and got pissed. Will tackle that on Sunday.





Next is the tl-s spoiler. Anyone want to point me in the right direction for that

your a trooper for doing mods in 32 degree weather!!....and for the type s trunk lid spoiler you should try hitting up one of the acura vendors on here

Will do, made the mistake of going over to m local Acura place a little while ago to inquire about the spoiler from them. Let's just say I was laughing when he told me the price. Walked right out

yea, starting to realize that. Local Dealer wanted 425. For that price i will just start looking into the a spec lip kit since it can be had for only a few hundred more and its offered in my color.

I'm pretty sure ASM and SSM are two different shades of silver.

Btw where in central NC are you? I'm in Cary, right outside of Raleigh.

looks nice! im actually about to do a install today to with below 30 degrees weather lol. Gonna put on my tl-s decklid. Blackmarket is the best way for one,thats how i got mine. You lucky your local dealer wants 425... mine wanted about 600! Its rare but patience is a virtue.. i got mine after 2-3months of waiting lol

They look good! Its hard picking tail lights for our cars...they all look so nice. How'd you cut your hand?

SSM is colder with more blue in it. Barely noticeable unless side by side in specific light. Overcast skies make SSM look more blue in comparison, whereas ASM is a hair warmer. Even people who don't know an engine from a tire on a car have told me "your car almost looks like its blueish silver."

Looks good! I hope you had gotten new gaskets for the tail lights as I had run into condensation problems in the past when I had re-used the ones from my base tail lights.
