Summer Update...
Nothing much new here other than just some pics I just took yesterday. Had a busy summer traveling with the fam, so haven't spent too much time on my TL.







horribly OOF, but I liked it, so I tried to salvage it in PS...

Found this weird animal in my backyard. Looks like some kind of deer/t-rex hybrid mammal...

Tyler, I reeeally wish I could make it to the Charlotte meet on 8/17, but I'm going to be traveling for work that weekend. When is the next one after that? I need to make it to one soon. I'm always jealous of you and Eric's pics from the Charlotte meets.

Car looks awesome, but I will never understand that tire stretch thing you guys all do haha. Goofiest looking thing people do on this site.

Thanks! Take a look at this picture and imagine what would happen if I was running a 235 or wider rear tire. It would not fit, even at stock suspension height it would probably rub like crazy. Tire stretch (at least for me) isn't for looks, it's about making aggressive wheels fit at an aggressive ride height. Unfortunately, the TL's fenders are not accommodating for wide/aggressive setups, so in some cases, tire stretch is necessary to avoid rubbing.

At the time, lobster was like $5/lb at our grocery store, so I brought a bunch of live ones home and decided to tease the dog by giving the lobster her rawhide bone lol.

Damn, I'm sorry you can't make it. Teh GF just moved to Charlotte so I'll be staying there for all of the car meets. Next time you're in the area, give me a shout and see if I'm there.

I'm not sure when the next one will be but I'll keep you updated

That's a proper TL. Never liked stretch and poke but the rest of the car is done correctly. Well done, sir.
