SSM Rules !!! Check it Out!!!

I've had this car for 3 months and I have never before experienced so much fun when driving. I finally got my a$$ off of the drivers seat and found time to take some pics and post them. Critism both negative and positive is welcome. Enjoy!!

Did I say I love this car ????

I likes!!! SSM was what I would have chosen if I had not gotten NBP. It looked simply awesome in the brochure pictures. Looks nice in those pictures you took as well!

Thanks for the props guys. cTLgo - Yeah the tint is really kind of dark, not to mention illegal. But I think it gives the car an attitude. It is Madico ON-20. There are scratches on the tint and its a good thing you cant see the scratches from the outside. Am gonna install moleskin next week and then having it re-done.

Jerky - am planning to get the A-Spec package most likely next spring. I want to compare it to the RonJon kit when it is ready and will decide then. I'm also thinking of the RonJon machined Servos in the 19" size. Don't think chrome would look good on the SSM. Just gotta save up the money for all dat. Peace!

I have the aspec body kit, i really like the way it looks... Im getting the "dark" chrome Aspec 18s tommorow!

they wont overpower the SSM or blend in too much like the gunmetal (IMO)

What does the ronjon kit look like? is it rice or nice?

OH one other suggestion, check out Jatts car...he cleared the headlights...it looks really sick (hes ssm too)

If you can, removing the front lic plate will really make your car have even more attitude!

Great pics. I have the SSM as well. I just had the splash guards installed and I purchased the side moldings but am afraid they won't look good so I haven't installed them yet. Your pics are the first I've seen and although your car looks good I still can't make a dicision on the BSM's. I think I'm going with tint too but the blind spots on this car suck and the last thing I want my wife doing is backing up into someone and blaming it on me because of the tint. Know what I mean guys?

Murphy, I know what you mean...

does the splash gaurds and side moldings work together? i was under the impression that they might not.

please show us some pics when you do get those together...

Yeah I was checking out those dark chrome wheels at my dealers the other day. They look very good, but I want to go with 19"s I really want the A-Spec but will wait to see the ronjon kit. Check it out at www.ronjonwheels.com They say its still in development. I want to actually see it on a TL coz I wouldn't want to rice out my car like u sed. Post pics of your new rims when u get em'. And I love that mean look Jatt's car has with the cleared out headlights. I'm really considering it.

I have both the BSMs and splash guards. They make a very subtle difference to the overall look of the car. I know I always notice other TLs that don't have them. The BSMs are a good ding protector IMO. I think they do a good job of keeping the sides of the car clean in wet weather and especially in the winter. I want to paint them silver as well. But am not sure it will look that good.

Jerky - I've been very tempted to remove the front plate. But thats illegal in New York. And I already have tint that is too dark. I don't want to attract too much attention by removing the front plate.

Might want to blur out your plate numbers. Anyone with a public data account can look up your info and pick up a new ride or get spare parts.

I really like the tint on the car. Hopefully mine will turn out that good also.
Don't care much for the BSM though. Kinda takes away from the smoothness of the car. IMO

Nice!

Damn, that tint looks hot with SSM. I'm glad I decided to go w/ SSM. Picking up my 6MT non-navi w/ body kit hopefully on Saturday. I was going to go w/ 35 tint, but I gotta say the 20 looks really nice. Great car!

your tinter did not do your quarters correctly. good tinters who know how to tint TL's either remove the glass or can cut and squeegee the film around all the glass.
