A beautiful car. Enjoy every minute of it. TLs are solidly built and very comfortable. They look so nice, especially when modded. Let the mods begin?

Car looks great, and the fact that it has only 12K miles is icing on the cake!

What are you plans for it?

I have owned this car for going on a year now already and my plans are to do nothing more than keep it relatively stock and original and in mint condition. I have done some mods here and there to other "guinee pig" Type S's I have owned and I have found that I like the car as is and any significant bolt on mods I have done I just end up removing anyway lol. It's a great car right from the factory.
The only changes to this car are front and rear VLED triton turn signals, Sylvania/osram interior and plate LED's, 35% tint all around, and new Michelin pilot AS3's as the original Bridgestone Potenzas from 2006 were starting to get some age behind them (and not many miles).

I think he's keeping it just the way it sits.

That's understandable. With miles that low, I'd be hesitant to make any changes either. I just wish the shocks on the Type S were slightly firmer.

Well miles plays some role in me wanting to keep it as is, but like I said I'm happy with the car how it is since I have done some mods on other TL's and they really didn't do a whole lot for me. As for the shocks, I really couldn't imagine a car coming from the factory riding much more firm than the Type S does now. That would be a pretty stiff ride lol.
Everyone keeps mentioning the miles. That's all due to the cars life with its original ownership (not me)....which was actually corporate Honda as the car spent all it's life sitting indoors at their offices in CT. Even though this vehicle is technically my daily driver, mileage will still only be about 7,000 miles a year so they are gonna go up, but that's what the car was intended for. I bought the car with 4,900 miles last summer. It's been a great vehicle and I can finally say that I really don't think I have it in me to let this one go.

Excellent shots, paint, condition, & mileage!!!

Question &/or Observation: It appears your grill (& other trim) is gunmetal to match your rims, not bright chrome. Is it the pictures making it look that way? I have not seen this on any other TL. I didn't know if this was an option, or if you had painted as such. If you did, please elaborate, I like the look & would like to tone down the bright chrome as well.

Thanks in advance

Factory, stock, chrome. If it looks anything different it's due to the pictures.

MRP with black interior has always been my top choice for this car. You've got some very nice pictures there. Not a spec! I wish I could say the same for mine. My car was a highway car before, so the front of the car looks like the front of an 18-wheeler, filled with pelts and little knicks (most of the dead bugs were able to wash off). Not noticeable from far away though, thank goodness. And also I've got a stubborn driver's side headlight cover that won't stay clear. I can get it to 95% new, and then after a week it's right back to where it was.

I thought the same thing. After all the picture posts, me tooting my own horn about it, even the original first post someone made about this car for sale on Craigslist. You would have thought the entire forum would have been properly briefed on the matter by now lol.

The Type-S's grill, emblems and trunk trim are "black chrome" which are different than the base TL's.

Amazingly clean TL. Love it.
