Alright! The 2nd gens are coming out in full force!
Skrewologist is up next. I think it will be my 1st CBP TL! He PM'ed me some HUGE pics to work with, so I will be able to make a wallpaper size chop; prob 1440x900...

Alright people, let me start of by apologizing for the hiatus. I'm truly sorry. Skwatoe's "chopping well" was aaaaaaaaaaaaalmost dry except for a few drops left at the bottom.
I've had one helluva year and a half long shitstorm raining down on me. I got divorced (after a 13 year relationship), my house was almost forclosed, I've been working 90 plus hour weeks, & I've never lived alone, payed bills, etc, leaving little to no time or desire to even open Photoshop, let alone prance around and frolick on my favorite forums.
I'm extremely happy to say that the well is filling back up! My creative spark is back! I've been refamiliarizing myself with my laptop's huge chunk of Adobe!
I'm so commited to my artistic comeback that I've started the process of tattoo sleeving one of my arms (working closely with my artist to design all of them); tat #5 will be colored in a couple weeks.
Anyway, I'm back and hope to have something up by the end of the week!
p.s. I've deleted my inbox...because of the fresh start and all, lol.

but im very sorry to hear man. 13 years is a long time; i know how rough that is. i'd say just continue to do what you love to keep your mind off things.

I have actually decided to retire my previous list of requests, so everyone who wants a chop is going to have to get in line all over again. I figure, if I'm starting my life over, this is a logical step.

. I think since I'm self taught, I know the easiest/quickest ways to get the desired effects I'm trying to convey. Most of these chops look waaay more complicated than they are.

As you too have discovered, divorce is tough, but not the end of the world. Each day gets better, but those "first times" really suck. The two phrases I learned to hate, then love again were, "Time heals all wounds" (ugh---I still have a revulsion to that one) and "Always take the high road", which I found to be the most difficult to follow yet the most rewarding in the end.

Sadly, I get out of work too late to join the festivities
but I do plan on having as many BBQs and beer pong parties at my crib as I can this summer, seeing as how I'm a bachelor and all now, hehe
