Silverstars installed w/pics

So I installed Silverstars in the fogs today. Not even close to the brightness of the HID's but much brighter than the stock fogs. In my opinion well worth the money spent!! Here are the pics:

Excuse my ignorance, but are they yellow?...they look pretty cool. Where did you get them? I definitely want to change my stock fogs.

they only appear to be yellow because the hid's are soo white. they are ment to be a white color, but I guess nothing compares to hid's.

HEADACHEZ does your lights look similar to ding069's at dusk? I mean where the the high beam and the fogs are similar in color?

They actually do not have any fog light info for a 06 TL, but I'm pretty sure it's safe to go with the specs they have listed for an 05.

Thanks!

Why didn't you get the:

9006SU Silverstar ULTRA for Ultra Night Vision - The Whitest and Brightest Halogen
9006ST Silverstar High Performance Lighting: The Whiter and Brighter Halogen

Looks like it might be brighter that the 9006st you bought

I have the Sylvania SilverStar's on my ST 1300 they have a blue tint on the bulb, which gives them a blue-white appearance. There has been several posts from fellow riders that have had problems with these bulbs service life. The Osram Silver Star bulbs are a better bulb without the blue tint and have a far better service life. If you go to the site that TriniBwoy posted it will take you to Sylvania's site. Sylvania is owned by Osram which is a German company and the bulbs which have the same name are not the same. If you do a search on the web for Osram Silver Star you will find them.

I actually had the set left over from my old 2005 Accord. It just worked out that they used the same part#

Mine did burn out after a few months but I just called the customer service number. They told me to send the bulbs back and two weeks later they sent me a brand new set! From what the rep told me over the phone they should last about 1 - 2 years

Thumbs up

You can also use 9005 bulbs for the fogs. they're a little brighter than 9006. Here's my input:
