Relax, man. LOL.
The number is the amount of light ALLOWED THROUGH.
RI, has a 70% requirement. You must ALLOW 70% (or more) THROUGH to be legal.
The Original Equiment is 75%. 75% of the light is ALLOWED THROUGH.
So the Original Equipment ALLOWS THROUGH 5% more light than RI requires.

Call around and ask what brands they carry. Generally the tint shops that carry LLumar and 3M do high quality work because those companies wouldn't let them carry their product if their service was below par

They're "Sun-Gard" tint 30% all around. Just ask them if they carry that brand, and ask them if they have the bluish film like benz....
good luck!

Here is my WDP w/ Taupe Interior and 15% Madico Onyx all around.

What color car and interior did you get?
- Moleskin (call around, if they don't know what it is, you probably do not want to go use them as your tint shop)
- Tint way back on your rear quarter window. They will need to cut some of the rubber to get there, but it does not do any harm.
- make sure they tint under your backup lights, do not tint around it.
- make sure they know how to tint over the dot-matrix
- I had a tint shop who wanted to cut the rubber seal instead of using moleskin, i do not recommend this.

20% all around w/ front windshield strip ...

Racer
Before
After 20% All around
Pros-Dark enough to keep interior cool during hot days
Cons- Too dark makes backing up hard, I have to roll the windows down.
If I were to do it over again I would get 30% or 35%

Here are some pics of a stock 07 TL with Johnson Greystone 40% tints
Nothing special here, just wanted to share what 40% looks like
First thought was...It's kinda light
Next was...Are you sure you had this tinted? Can't figure out what that reflection is between rear headrests
Ah, now it looks better with some different light
I think this one look pretty good for 40%
This one has a background that is a little lighter
A front window shot showing interior light
Different angle of the sun
Rear window & De-badged

Madico Onyx. But if I did it over, I'd really look at the Pinnacle F1 Ceramic
