thanks bro! they were shot using just the lowly XT. thats because I had to handhold the camera for a few seconds (with IS on of course) as I cant use a tripod with all the junk on the other side of these pictures.

i absolutely love the change. i already had RAZO super whites on the same locations but after getting the high-lux LEDs, it was a night&day change. the rear is almost identical to lexus' rear license plate lights.

I bought them at Autobacs. granted I paid a premium, but it would cost the same if the bulbs were available online, as I would have paid express shipping. im that impatient

ill try to swing by there again and get the name. if it is available online, pick up a set, you wont be disappointed

hey patrick. those lights are bright as shit. all you did was change the leds? i need a bulb that bright for my trunk. ir burnt out. so pointing me towards a bulb that would be pretty bright for that location would be much appreciated.

hey, lets get together soon for another photoshoot. hopefully maybe this time with multiple locations =)

i'll bring my shitty camera and you can tell me how crappy it is cause i cant change any of the settings. or maybe i can and im just dumb hahahaha

sure man. bring it next time and we'll take a look at it. i started with a shitty camera too when i was begining all this

it was a pain removing the trunk light though. i think its the same as the vanity lights, although i dont plan on swapping those out as they're hardly used.

what was tough though was the rear dome lights. somehow my fingers grew as i could not pull the super whites I had installed on them (i remember yanking the stock ones easy). so after fiddling with it for an hour, i took an electrick drill, put a philips bit, and unscrewed the two screws you'll see inside (with the rear lens removed). the whole thing pops right off, the bulb bases twist and come off and in 3 seconds you have a bulb swapped.

i wish i knew that before lol

i thought about the cold cathode but should i decide to move bulbs around (assuming a better form other than LEDs come along), I have the option to undo what i have and mount the LEDs on any car that uses the type 194 bulb.

do you still get the same dimming effect when the doors are closed or unlocked?

God damn thats bright. Looks great. Especially that trunk light. I saw 2 Lexus' on the road the other night and they looked great on them. I need something like that when my custom plates come in(if they ever come in). Was it difficult to change them?

it was relatively easy, but to be honest, the first time i took the trunk lights out, it took me 2 hours (trying to remove them from the outside).

once i knew how to take them out from the inside, it was a piece of cake.

these LEDs are white, not a bluish white like some hyper white LEDs. and they really are bright. the photos i took arent photoshopped much (just basic conversion from RAW). you can tell by watching the vid too.
