Sanding down Work lips... oh no...
It was time to polish up the lips. They had water stains and scratches, so I decided to sand them down and re-polish them. I bought these wheels without any clear finish on the lips only.
I started with wet sanding 800 grit, finished with 2000 grit.
Buffed out with mothers aluminum polished.
Then wax/sealed with colinite 845.
Results = beautiful.
Time = About 4 hours.

I remember i saw a thread on on how to polish lips, the guy said he literally had the car on jack stands and had a friend run the car at 5-10mph while he held a sandpaper at the lip LOL sounds like a dangerously good idea...but good thing you didn't do that and it came out nice
