yes it's S/C'd... otherwise I would not have put that on. Those badges' been on the car for about a year.............
I guess it's a completely different crew than ones I used to know. The guys that were on this forum all had S/C'd TL and I guess I'm the only selected few left...........

I'd ditch all the emblems. Let the car speak for itself. Literally, with the whine, lol.
And clean the inside of your wheels! There's like a pile of dirt in there. If you're going to go to all the effort of washing/claying/waxing your car, do it right.
Maybe there's a reason for that....

Jack, since you have had the SC for awhile, do you really use it (the horses) that often? Or are they mostly out to pasture? In other words, would you rather have your $4K back and do a couple mods that add fewer hp? Or is it still a big thrill? Serious questions as I always wonder if SC owners get to the point quick where the novelty wears off and they are stuck with a lot of furniture under the hood that they no longer are enthused about.

Nice ride, but Jack...get outta here...all those badges say "Next" ! LOL!

Growing up a V8 / American muscle fan, anything less than powerful TQ is never enough. When I initially bought the TL, I bought it because it was luxurous and it has a reliable, plus it's very sexy. I wanted a car that will last and I don't have to worry about everyday minor problems and Honda/Acura is famous for being a solid brand.
The car lacked TQ so I added the S/C, I wanted something that whines loud so Comptech was the way to go. But if I had to do it all over again, I would not have done it. But that is because I would have made this car a daily driver for my wifey and got myself something else. However, don't get me wrong, The S/C is worth the money but I am just not into it as much anymore.... I barely go into boost 90% of the time because I'm so busy doing other stuff than racing people.
This car has been pampered since day 1...... so if I ever do sell it, someone is gonna be a lucky guy lol

They are from weathertech, I've had them since 2004. They never gave me any problems, one of the best gadgets I've ever gotten for the TL.....
It's custom made to fit the TL

yes I've posted pictures last year. But since most of the guys I used to know that had S/C'd TL or heavily into performance all left... I kind of went into hibernation.

OD on the stupid supercharger emblems<especially on the back, i would only keep the one on the front grill. Thats like me winning the lottery and getting "I won the lottery" tattoos on both my arms and legs.... think about it

actually........ no. It's quite different. This isn't a rice rocket and the car looks bone stock except the stickers. Most higher end car owners give me compliments rather than trying to race me. The only drivers that actually try are the M3 and below..... the AMG drivers always give me thumbs up.

I don't see why everyone's harrassing BoostedJack on the emblems. Considering that he's one of the few S/C TL's on this site, he's got bragging rights to have those emblems on there.

It's not like he's being a poser: we've all seen them, those idiots who stick on "Type S/R" on their Non Type S/R rides, or try to fool the world that their car is a Type S/R by getting the rims + badges.

Not to mention he had the balls and the cash flow to actually get the supercharger. Hell, if I had a Supercharger, I'd put on a couple "Supercharged" Emblems myself.

Anyway, damn Jack. Wish I lived on the East Coast so I could come and see your ride myself. I wanna see it smoke some M3's.

About the emblems: I had them on awhile back, it was actually gifts from a few friends when I initially got the blower. A few of them helped me put them on and these are my friends with modified M3s, corvettes and cobras). They made fun of me when I first got the TL, telling me I'm an old man for getting a TL, so when I got the blower, they jumped on getting me those emblems telling me I finally went back to my old self ......
There aren't many S/C TL drivers anymore... last spring, I counted 11, but now I can only remember a few who still have them.... it's a shame because most guys who get superchargers lose interest fast because they want more power. More power means trading in for something quicker. For me, this is just a daily driver... Some of you might know I am currently looking into getting a S class while keeping this vehicle as a daily driver
