RRP Lowered on Tein H-Tech Springs
Well, I was finally able to find time to take pics of my car with the springs. I have had them on since February. I went with the H-Techs because I didn't want a big drop (but lower than the A-spec suspension) and didn't want to pay the $$ for coilovers. All in all I'm pretty happy!
The only problem... Now my A-spec wheels look small!![Tongue](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)

Very nice color. It didn't make your wheels smaller it made them loo 10x better. The drop is even out, looks good. Type-s tails looks great. The grey gives the red some separation from the RRP. I suggest de-badging the "ACURA" and "TL", It's cluttering the trunk with the A-Spec badge, which is fine itself.

Like HONgDA said, de-badge and the trunk will look great.
Overall, your car is really clean.

ADVANCE.
What are you talking about? He has the whole A-SPEC body kit plus the rims. Not the suspension because he has the H-Tech springs that he is talking about. So I think he has the right to sport his A-SPEC badge. Am I right? haha, maybe you can't see it. I see them and the car really looks good and clean. Keep up the good work bro!

Very nice pics! Thats exactly what i want to do.
So if I understand correctly, your car isn't an a-spec - meaning you don't have an aspec suspension.
You kept your oem shocks and only replaced the springs? And because the ride height drop isn't significant, keeping the oem shocks is ok? Do you guys know if doing this reduces the life of the oem shocks?

^^Also it reduces the life of the OEM shock, but they do work fine. That was my old setup and never had a problem with it... I put about 10,000 miles on it and gave it to my brother and it runs just as smooth as the first time I put them on.

I also have about 30K miles on the current shocks (when i bought the car it already had 25K on it)... can i assume its the original shocks?
I read that if you are going to replace springs, might as well replace current shocks if they are old.
But then if i'm replacing springs and shocks... i start approaching the cost of coilovers

ADVANCE.
^^ No I do not know how long they will last. It depends on how you drive too. I'm clueless on stuff like that. I've seen some folks say they had to replace their stock shocks pretty fast compared to some others. So it just depends. The thing with my other setup was that my car was brand new when I lowered it. So that was 10,000 miles I put on the car and on the suspension from 200 miles. I'm sure you would be ok with 30,000 miles on your OEM shocks to put some coils on. On the other hand you definitely look into some coilovers, only if you want. For me, I bought Tein SS's and they are freaking AWESOME! I love them compared to the springs on stock shock combo. Buuut yes you will be spending some money, but its well worth it. Hope this helps. =)

Looks great H-Tech height is about the same as getting A-Spec 6MT installed on 5AT TL. 18" FTW. It'll ride better and you don't have to examine the road as much.

Thanks guys!
The ride is just a little stiffer than stock. I don't have any complaints. I would definitely replace the shocks if you put lowering springs on with 95K miles.
