I did have some slight fitment issues, but all I used was window-weld on mine, and the spoiler is pretty much fused with the car and isn't going anywhere.

The rims are rays nismo a34, 19x8.5...I'll be keeping them for a while.

anyone know what the width of the "JDM" roof spoiler is vs. the Spoilerstore eBay "OEM" trunk lip spoilers? They almost look like the same part, just different location. I'm thinking this may have already been discussed before as I once read a thread, where someone placed a "OEM" style lip spoiler up on the rear window to use as a roof spoiler.

ok i wasn't gonna post but, im sick of seeing these spoilers that just dont look right.

now for those of you who are thinking of getting a roof spoiler. this is what it should look like and fit like, to the edge on both sides and the top edges should meet no step or bulge at the top. no gap, no fitment issues. mounted with 3M window weld adhesive FTW! no double sided tape shit here.

jptl04 can you post a pic of the roof spoiler directly from the side, not top angles. I wanna see how far back it goes & how far up it curves. I'm afraid its too much or too big for what I'm looking for. Thanks.

now remember, i used a shaving tool to get it to fit like this. i could have easily shaved more down to create less of an angle. it is really easy to work this spoiler, with the shaving tool because of what its made of. the fiberglass one is impossible to work with. it highly resembles the OEM type-s deck lid spoiler. its a little bit bigger but the shape is dead on. i get nothing but compliments on it.

those of you who have the Sarona spoiler and modified the fitment feel free to chime in.

Yeah thats what I've been looking for, all the ones I've seen are either too big or too small. I take you shaved down the outter edge not the edge that tapes to the window. Looks like thats what I'll have to do or go all custom for the look I want. Thanks!

didn't touch the top or sides. i shaved the underside of it that makes contact with the glass. but you could shave the top side, i would just be weary of creating an uneven edge.

does anyone have this Duraflex one?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

it looks like it goes from edge to edge with no gaps? it has a nice profile and looks like it curves to the roof well

or any info on this one

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

do you's think the second one is the 45 inch one that was listed as jdm not too long ago?

I believe the first link you posted is a guy who is clearing out the old ATLP spoilers which had fitment issues (from what I've read here on AZ).
I emailed the seller on the second link who said his spoiler is 45" long. But it is made out of fiberglass and may be more difficult to shave down, if necessary.

the second one looks like jptl's sarona roof spoiler ( iknow it's not, but i like the design of it, but do not want a gap on the sides.. i'm gonna go with the Duraflex one, it does look like the ATLP , hopefully it is! anyone else with info on these?

Guess I should post my question in this thread as well. Reference https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...k+roof+spoiler for the original discussion...

Does anybody with a 3G WDP have a black or carbon fiber roof spoiler installed? More specifically, I'd like to see the Megan roof spoiler in the above thread... Anything to give me an idea of what I'm considering will be helpful. Thx!

When I compare the Sarona vs. the ATLP, I've got to say that ATLP is the winner. I love the design. Unfortunately, the price is a little steep (not because I think the quality is not up to par, but I just can't afford it right now). It definitely finishes off the rear of this car.

The Sarona roof spoiler matches better with the stock type-s trunk lip

the ATLP looks a bit over sized..

Sarona = VIP
ATLP = Sporty

suck it

I think it is just the way the Sarona flares up. It's too much for me. It's still nice. Let's just say if someone gave one to me, I wouldn't let it sit and gather dust in my garage.

I have the duraflex aka ATLP spoiler.

It DOES have slight fitment issues, which were remedied with using window-weld. I paid $107 picked up so it was damn well worth it.

Search my name in this thread for pics of it. It looks exactly like the old ATLP's.

Sweet! i just ordered my duraflex one last night, i'm aware of the fitment issue, they said it would need some light sanding on the one side, but it seems like you manipulated yours just by using window weld? maybe i can go that route as well,, will keep the thread updated when i receive it in a few days

dude are you serious?
he didnt post pics of himself, he posted a rolling shot of his car. You cant take a rolling shot if you arent driving right??
You act like he posted pics of himself without the car or pics that werent relevant here.
And even if he did post random pics of himself WHO CARES?? If it was a girl you wouldnt be complaining.

Just stop because you are coming across as a real asshole which im sure is not the case right??

Have some respect for other members here. That comment was really unnecessary

edit - sorry, one more thing....
