Red Painted BREMBOs with stenciling (pics)

Here are some pics of my Brembos painted red with "Brembo" stenciled in white. The pictures aren't high res or anything because they have to be small to fit on Village photos. I haven't seen anyone else with painted Brembos yet so let me know what you think.

to be honest, i do not like it. i think the originals looked better.
maybe matching the rears with the original blacks would have been
a better option.

the stenciled brembos does not cut it either.

i think your intentions were great but the results could have been better.

Yikes!

I checked my own link and I see what you mean. With that giant pic, it does look pretty shitty. However, that side is the one that I fucked up. I went to clean the brake before stenciling in Brembo and I used brake cleaner......took 1-2 layers of paint right off. I had to quickly reapply and then stencil in a rush. The other side looks better, but obviously still not professional. Can't tell unless looking closely though.

Whoa. I need a MUCH bigger laptop screen to view that picture in full!

It's different alright. Good job for that...

I went to decal place and had them laser cut me the stencil, which sticks on after the red coat had set for a day. I was in a rush in the one in the picture, which is why it bled. The other side is perfect.

19". The offset is 35mm to help clear the Brembos. Don't think I'll drop it because of the aggressive offset...will probably rub.

i do not think you will have any problems if you dropped it 1". someone with an anthracite TL in this forum has 19" and dropped.

I have 18x8.5 +42mm with 245/40 tires and it is dropped. I recall your tires being 235s with a lower sidewall ratio which pretty makes it the almost the same diameter as my setup. it should clear....i think....
