Rear Spoiler Comparison Thread

I'm in the market for a rear spoiler for my car. There are several options available out there, but many aftermarket websites use generic pictures to support the product they are selling. This makes it difficult to compare the look and fit of each option.

I thought that it would be a good idea to start a thread that would allow individuals who have a spoiler installed to post pictures in one convenient place so that comparisons can be made. Both the wing and deck spoilers of all makes and manufacturers should be supported.

Contributors to this topic should include a couple different angles of the spoiler they have installed. Pros and Cons should be listed, and the vendor should be noted for easy research. Personal commentary and banter should be limited to help keep this thread on topic, and I'm asking the mod team to monitor the progress of this thread to help keep it free from clutter.

First and foremost, I would like to see pictures of the OEM options, including a side-by-side comparison of the base deck spoiler and the TL-S deck spoiler. I understand there are subtle differences.

Thanks for participating!

I installed a OEM Lip Spoiler Painted.

I dont like the wing spoiler, or any other aftermarket spoilers for the TL.

I also think that the decklid spoilers, suit the lines of our car more than the wing spoilers.

I dont think it flows with the lines of the car at all. I wouldn't have bought my TL if it had wing spoiler. Just doesn't go

Here's a suggestion on how that might work if you prefer the lip spoiler: "You know, I really prefer the lip spoiler. It really sticks with the lines of the car in a way that I like."

Try it next time...you might find it useful.

Someone should make a nice comparison post of the following:
OEM Wing
OEM Lip
OEM Type-S Lip
M3 Lip
CSL

That atrocious thing above.
The other atrocious eBay wing.

Nah not worth the price. I was going to, but then i saw pics of a IS350 with the same style spoiler un molded and it looks awesome. Plus i dont want to mold the spoiler, and have the lip kits look funny not molded.

Wing for the win. It just looks a little more aggressive. Nothing wrong with the lip spoiler for you stealth type personalities.

lip IS aggresive...look at all high performance cars on the market...they all have lip spoilers. IMO the wing spoiler only looks good if it matches the lines of the car(EVO, STI, etc)

If you have any pictures to post about spoilers, post them. If not, keep on moving along! This thread will be cleaned up later and made into a comparison thread...
