$2!? You missing a 1 in there?

Styles, I got some off eBay when I was planning on doing Brembo covers, I abandoned the idea but I'm keeping them just in case.

I got all four for 10 dollars total after tax.

I guess in Canada they didnt raise the price.

I was planning to buy more and resell at same price but Acurazine staff wouldn't like that probably.

My new wheel setup makes our stock brakes look like a joke lol

I feel safe to say I could run any brake setup made for the TL with plenty of room to spare. (18x10.5 +15)

There is about a fist gap between the caliper and the back of the wheel face lol

I was iffy on them, but even painted and no stickers, they've really grown on me.

meh.... decided to go full retard and get the type B1 service done at a dealership.

this involves re-lubing of the brake pads... and of course, they call me to let me know they 'must' remove the rear covers in order to service the brakes as the mech could not access the calipers with them on.

i told them to go ahead.. i will re-install next summer but will mod them a bit to give easier access to the calipers for servicing.

damn dealer... but for now, i went ahead and just painted the calipers black.

That's what got me holding off on installing mine. I need to get the the hardware store and buy something to tap a few small holes to utilize the tabs that come on the covers. I know the RTV works just fine, but it's a preference thing for me.

I may revisit with screws when I need to take a look at pads...but that'll be a long time from now as I ground down a beveled edge and relubed everything prior to install.

Really surprised, the rear calipers must be very different on the TSX, even with the covers on there's more than enough room to remove and lube the back side of the pads. I'm surprised that the "mech" couldn't change the pads.

It's the middle tab that's in the way from them not being able to remove the caliper.

I had to remove my caliper cover to remove my caliper because the middle tab was in the way.

No sweat though, because I just had to unscrew two screws to remove the cover.

In that case it might make sense to just use a dremel with a cutting wheel to cut off the middle mounting point and finish the center of the caliper cover in a straight line. Touch up the exposed metal with the same caliper paint (it should work for future brake repair)

i have mines installed with the tab bent inwards (tab sits between the cover and the caliper). i have swapped out brake pads with the covers on the front and rear with no issues.
