Thanks man. The front IMHO looks better with the way you got it. That's why I was like, didn't look like the A-Spec kit. Might have to do that to mine as well.
And thank you for the WB. It's great to be back!

Do you have any close ups of the modifications that need to be done to the front lip to fit the newer bumpers so I can see? I would like to do the same.

here is a closer look
alot of people with a Type-S want this look because its cleaner than the Type-s A-spec. however few if any have done it. they rather opt to get the base bumper and the base spoiler and call it a day.

more custom shit!!!!
my center cubbys are are being occupied by my 3sixty vol knob and EDFC unit. i wanted to do something different, the VSA button mod was out of the question i needed a spot for three switches/buttons. so fabricated a switch box for the P.I.E. X-3 , nav2go and video switcher. mounted it in the driver side lower door compartment. i extended the wires of all switches with some 10 conductor flat cable. ran it through the factory door harness, for a clean install.
i could have just put them under the dash or in the center console compartment, but thats not me and plus thats way too easy and boring wanted these at my fingertips, all i have to do is flick it open, or just close it. these are in a perfect spot

ok guys here are some pics of my latest install, my custom rear center console. a few members asked me to make a DIY on it, im not even sure i did it using the right technique. so dont laugh! here are some pics of the process and the finished results.
i basically mocked up a frame out of wood cardboard and metal, the metal was to get the exact shape and slope of the existing console edges.
after i hot glued the pieces together i wrapped it in speaker cloth material and brushed on some fiberglass resin over the whole thing
after id dried i laid some fiberglass mat over the whole thing and lined the inside with mat and brushed on more resin to strengthen it. when i finished this it was pretty damn strong.
after it dried i laid down a layer of bondo over the whole thing and sanded it smooth
once i got it to where i liked it i took it to my custom auto upholstery guy, to be wrapped in leather. that took a few days so while i was waiting i modified my dvd player remote. i got sick of aiming it to the back where its mounted in the rear armrest.
so i relocated the signal sensor. i cant stop modding
now i can just sit it on my center armrest and control it without pointing it backwards.
ok here's the the finished piece.
video playback mode
comments welcome

I am literally speechless right now... your car is absolutely unbelievable man. Not only that, but the fact that you are doing this all yourself just amazes me even more.

Now I know why this thread has made it to nine pages and soon to be ten......Just sick, I love everything about it.
I also have a DVD player mounted in the rear arm rest but I installed an IR cable that I ran up to the underside of the dash so I could point it to the front. Did your DVD player have an option like that?

Jaime, that is unbelievably fantastic. I would say it turned out better than expected, but I KNEW it would turn out that awesome! Plus, I think it's the only car that would actually appreciate in value.

i knew you would like it Steven, sorry no room for CF in this mod. maybe next time
yeah, wasn't about to do the headrests, i've got two in the visors. it would have been too much. this i think, like you said makes it look so classy. almost OEM.
